Here is the track listing and my comments for each song on Surge 2009 – JTTP.
- Allure ft. Christian Burns – Power of You (Zoo Brazil Remix) New from Tiesto’s Allure brand, this got my attention from the first time I heard it! The perfect start for the Surge 2009 CD and it builds in energy setting the tone for the rest of the CD.
- Erick Dere – The Choice (Original Mix) Great track setting the mood for a journey.
- Andain – Beautiful Things (Dave Robertson Remix) Classic re done with a nice bouncy groove and timeless vocal. Sure to get the floors warm!
- KeeMo & Tim Royko ft. Kosmo Klein – Beautiful Lie (Inpetto Remix) One of my favorites, I heard this in Ibiza when Cosmic Gate opened for Tiesto. Deep bass, catchy vocal and big pads with its own beautiful energy.
- Gianlucca Motta ft. Molly – Not Alone (Deadmau5 Remix) A Deadmau5 remix which I had heard in New York first and has been part of my longer sets.
- Arnej – The Ones That Got Away (Original Mix) Great energetic production made of few sounds, sure to build energy on the dance floor!
- Armin van Buuren ft. Susana – If You Should Go (Inpetto vs. Duderstadt Remix) Inpetto remix of Armin van Buuren’s hit. Strong vocal from Susana together with the Inpetto feel lets you groove while the CD picks up tempo.
- Deadmau5 – Clockworks (Original) Deadmau5 magic! A classic remake.
- Richard Durand – Weep (Sundown mix) Great exclusive mix of Weep with the famous Skunk Anansie voice on vocals!
- Mind X – Sensation Seekers (Martin Roth Nu Style Remix) Older track with a tech feel. You will know when the bass drops on this one!
- Nic Chagall – Sky Blue (Original Mix) From a very good friend of mine, Nic Chagall. A tight production that always gets the crowds with their hands in the air.
- Steve Forte Rio – A New Dawn (Extended mix) Another of my favorites, progressively put together with a great climax later in the track…love it!
- Andy Duguid ft. Leah – Wasted (Original Mix) Beautiful vocal track that unwinds the CD nicely!
